This week you will be making Sleep Eye Masks. Each class will be a different project. All materials and equipment will be provided and this program is free. This class is for ages 13 years and older. *Registration is limited and required.

We are meeting at the South Holiday Library.
We will be making 1970s style plant hangers from old t-shirts. Think macrame without the trouble of the complicated knots. Please bring an old t-shirt or two with you to this class.

Welcome to the wonderful world of birds as we explore their habitats, behaviors, and songs. Meet with a bird expert during a special presentation, where you'll discover fascinating facts about birds. Next, we will craft our very own bird feeders, perfect for attracting bird friends to your backyard. Finally, we will have the chance to have a mini bird-watching session, where you'll learn to identify different species and their unique characteristics.

Looking to reconnect with nature and learn something about birds in the area? Stop by between 9am and 10am and spend some time watching birds with an ornithologist. We'll have binoculars and a spotting scope. You will have a chance to get a look at some of the regulars; including wading birds, songbirds and some reptiles in the pond. If you are lucky, you may catch a glimpse of our resident alligator, Gordon! Ask about our birdwatching kits available for check out. Waivers are required for each person attending this program.
