The Christmas Bird Count (CBC) is the world's longest ongoing citizen science project.  The first count occurred on Christmas Day in 1900.  This year will be the 123 consecutive count.  2551 counts were turned in with the 2021 Christmas Bird Count . An amazing 42,217,206 birds were counted. West Pasco alone saw 162 species and 18,602 total birds.  Join the West Pasco Audubon at the Starkey Ranch TLC on Saturday, November 12 to hear more about this important project.
