Event Details

Join Earthchild Sarah every week as she teaches the basics of painting and drawing.

April is all about color. We will be working towards and impressionist painting. Learn how the color wheel works, why it's not the full story, how to mix paint, how to build color in layers and more.

Complete beginners to intermediate artists can come get expert guidance from someone who has been in the arts for nearly four decades. Learn how to improve your technique in watercolor, acrylics, pastels, graphite, charcoal, mixed media and more. We also cover the fundamentals of drawing such as composition, color, proportions, shading, texture etc. You can work on the suggested projects and exercises or bring in your art for advice and guidance on how to improve. Questions are welcome, community is encouraged. Materials are provided.

If you register and are unable to make it, please notify the library at least 48 hours in advance to be considerate of those on the wait list.
