The Teen Advisory Board will provide teens a chance to provide input into programs and materials at Centennial Park Library while meeting new friends. Volunteers can earn 1 hour of service for participation in the Teen Advisory Board. Teen Advisory Board will now include a half hour of gaming after pizza and a discussion.

Need help with your smartphone, tablet, or computer? Sign up at the library or call 727-834-3204 to schedule an appointment with our technology volunteer, Jon. Available by appointment Thursdays between 1:00pm and 4:00pm.

Reconnect with nature in our neighborhood! Join us to watch the birds as they get chatty before bedtime around the library: warblers, chickadees, and titmice regularly visit the mature oaks, and hawks like to stop by, too! Bring your questions about birds, we'll supply the binoculars. We'll take our time strolling around. Led by a local bird expert. The library and restroom will be open for patron use and staff will be on hand to deal with emergencies. This is a family friendly event, but all minors must please be accompanied by an adult. Waivers are required for each person attending this program. Qigong is an ancient Chinese health practice that uses stretching, slow movements and deep breathing to revitalize mind, body and spirit. It is popular around the world with adults who want to improve their balance, flexibility, posture, and strength. It has been used to help people suffering from anxiety, insomnia, back pain, joint pain, breathing problems, PTSD, arthritis and more. All postures can be done standing up or seated in a chair. Everything can be adapted to individual needs.
