On view from 4/22 -- 6/3: Handmade quilts from members of the West Pasco Quilters Guild! Enjoy a range of subject matter, styles, and colors, all handmade from fabric. "Meet the artists" reception to follow on Thursday, 5/23 from 5:30-7:30pm. All ages welcome! Refreshments will be provided by Friends of the Starkey Ranch Library.

Join us as we make a book sleeve! All materials will be provided. Beginning sewers will practice using pins, sewing on a machine, ironing, and more. This class is for ages 9 years and older (including adults). A signed safety waiver and close-toed shoes are required for participation in this program. Tweens in grades 4-7 join us for Open Studio! Drop in and get creative with your peers.  

Discover yourself in Kid Korner! During this program, the library encourages our young patrons to try new things, make friends, and challenge themselves. For this Kid Korner, we'll recognize Lei Day (May 1st) by learning a brief history and creating our very own leis. 

Join us at this craft program and make some DIY tissue paper flowers to keep for yourself or give as a gift to a loved one! Ages 8 and up. 

Drop in for some Lego building fun! Bring a friend or family member. Use our Lego building blocks to create your own masterpiece. For ages 6+

Calling all teens! Do you love a certain galaxy spanning, light saber swinging, adventure-fueled movie franchise? If so, join us for this hour of fun. There'll be trivia, crafts, and a Lego or two (But who's counting?). 

Join us for a chance to "paint" a premade mug together with your child! All supplies are provided, and registration is required. A signed Pasco County Libraries Safety Waiver is required for participation and can be filled out the day of the class. 

Tweens and teens! Join us for a pottery class, where we will be learning how to throw on the wheel. No experience necessary. All supplies are provided and registration is required. This class is open for ages 9 to 15. 

Join us for a monthly class that will include relaxation meditations followed by intriguing art activities designed to inspire personal expression and exploration. Maybe even learn something new about YOU! Led by a mental health professional.

Gelli printing is a relatively new form of mono printing that uses flexible printing plates to create textures and layers of color.  Attendees will learn the basics of gelli printing and will experiment with various techniques. 

Paint your own wooden birdhouse! All supplies will be provided. This program is for adults.

Learn the basics of throwing pottery on a wheel! Join us from 2pm-4pm. Participants will learn the basics of creating forms on a pottery wheel. Safety and Liability waiver and Makerspace Playbook must be completed prior. Ages 16+ welcome. No experience required. Participants will return two weeks later, on May 25th, to glaze their pieces. 

Join us for monthly open painting! Choose from rocks, canvas, paper, or bring your own materials or project to paint. This program is for adults.
