This activity is intended for ages 18 years and older (or youth age 9 years and older with an accompanying guardian). Open Build is an opportunity to use our tools to work on your approved project. Volunteers or staff will be on hand to assist. Bring your own plans and materials. 

At this time we also are offering beginners the opportunity to use the lathe to turn a pen (materials for 1st pen included) and for more experienced lathe users to turn a rolling pin (materials for 1st rolling pin included). For those interested in creating a birdhouse we have materials available while they last.

May 13, 15, 20 & 22 we will have a teen helper to assist ages 9-16 who want to learn to crochet.

Participants will be able to work on their own projects related to sewing, weaving, knitting, crocheting, die cut paper crafts, etc. This activity is intended for ages 18 years & older or ages 9 years & older with an accompanying guardian. 
In general, participants will need to bring their own materials. We can help with simple repairs or assist with new projects. At this time we have materials available to make simple weavings, reusable bags, and other small projects. A volunteer will be available to assist with sewing machines.
